I dont know how many people would actually 'listen' to what im saying now, but we'd better hurry and get saved/start saving people from tribulation on the last day cos Jesus is coming reeeeaaalll soon!! cant say it in a more urgent way.
yesterday aunty lynda showed the kids a video of the marriage supper of the bridegroom-the parable Jesus told. i FINALLY understood that parable. it's like every time i read a passage or a few chapters of the heaven book God somehow reinforces that learning and revelation with something else that happens. (in this case, the video) i was reading about how Jesus is giving us so many warnings and signs, that we must must get ready for the kingdom of God, but He cant wait forever for those who dont want to accept Him. He's coming in our lifetime that's what i know. Sooner than everyone expects.
I was so happy when i said the prayer of salvation with the k2s on sunday. i could feel God and all His angels rejoicing when the little kids accepted Jesus as their Lord and saviour into their hearts. He loves the little children! =)
It's not easy at all to get into heaven. if our hearts arent pure and holy enough we can never have a chance of entering God's promised land. He says that only about 20% of the so-called 'christians' in the world are actually pleasing Him and living their lives in total obedience to Him. so many churches are too concerned about outward appearances and being comfortable, than preparing and training people for going into the mission field to reach out to lost souls. if anyone enjoys this world or loves anything or anyone more than he or she loves Jesus, he/she will never see God's face.
so please; whoever is reading this, i beg you to ponder and just give a little more thought to what im saying than usual-i cant stress anymore how important this is.
on a worshiper's level, we must renew our attitudes when we come to church. are we really focusing our thoughts and our minds on the Lord during services when we sing and pray to Him? i admit that i get distracted by the people around me very easily. now i know that this displeases God. He wants our full commitment and all our attention to be focused on Him and Him alone; only then can we receive the numerous blessings that He has for us during worship.
right now im trying hard to please Him in everything i do, but i dont yet have the boldness to speak to unbelievers about Christ and what He did for us on the cross. i dont want to be embarrassed when i stand before His judgement seat in heaven on the last day! i keep praying for all of my unsaved relatives and friends.. if any of them comes to know Him-anyone at all-i'd be really happy for them.
im posting this cos there really isnt much time left, the tribulation is going to happen, it's not some far-off thing in the future which we'll not live to see, but it'll come in our lifetime, and God doesnt want anyone to miss the trumpet sound when He comes again to receive His obedient children.
