saturdayy!!

that was a momentous occasion.

when my ypm life group finally had an interesting, lively time. see, we combined with samson's group cos there were very little people, and he led the teaching. then everyone started joining in and contributing to the conversation, and before long it was 735. can you believe it? we used to be the earliest cell groups to end, like at 7 or at the latest, 710.

and now we're like wishing it wouldnt end.. that's how life group should be like! i was so happy luh. after all the prayers, after all the discussions, God really did step in. =)

we talked about fellowship, and the differences and similarities that the present church has versus the 2000 years ago church led by the apostles. and lots of interesting stuff just popped up.. like the more we talked the more we wanted to talk. and we talked about different different churches in singapore, then aunty evelyn shared something that we all needed to learn. how the style of worship in each church doesnt really matter, but that our personal walk with God was most important.

also learnt about how we could sometimes get really distracted by the medium used in worship.. so much so that we forget to focus on God, but focus on the medium instead. like "i felt God's presence during the rock song by delirious?, but not during the uncle tony hymns" hahaha. yeah so that's another food for thought. =)

oh oh we're gonna break bread the next time we meet in january!! so exciting whee.. cant wait cant wait.
